Markus Ettenauer has been working as a consultant at Horn & Company in Vienna since 2024. His expertise includes payments and process optimization at banks, with references across DACH and CEE. He also deals with transformation topics, including a focus on AI governance.

Before joining Horn & Company, Markus completed a master's degree at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) with a semester abroad in Tel Aviv. He then spent over two years in IT strategy consulting, working on projects for banks, insurance companies, and capital markets.

In addition to his work at Horn & Company, Markus Ettenauer regularly goes to the gym, plays handball, and enjoys traveling. During his studies, he founded a mentoring network for students, with which he is still involved on a voluntary basis.
