Garth Dowie

Garth Dowie joined Horn & Company's Maintenance division in February 2019 and has been Principal since January 2025.

His consulting services focus on the development and implementation of value-oriented maintenance and the digital and process-related interfaces to production, purchasing and controlling. He is active in the DACH region as well as in North America, Asia and Australia.

Garth holds a Bachelor (Honors) in Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management from Monash University in Melbourne. He has expertise in the specialty machine construction, chemical and process industries at various management levels, most recently as a site manager prior to joining the consultancy.

As an Australian, he enjoys surfing and has turned this passion into snowboarding. He often travels with his wife and daughter, as the family highly values diversity and experience.
